Where is this place?
This is so amazing! I just got my first sears tractor And the key got stuck in the car when I was turning it on and now I can’t start it :( any idea what I can do here ??
It is not done. No ROPS, no operator here.
2005 X575 and love it!
Are you going to restore this one
And nice video
Thanks. Going to leave this one as is.
Nice tractor I am glad you got it to run so good thank you for the video
Thanks
👍🛠️🚜🤝
You are very creative , you have some kind of serious engineer in you sir very cool love to see your Inventions
Thanks
yours seems to require less rpm than the store bought towable ones. great work!
Thanks. I started having issues with the engine and swapped on a predator 212cc. It does everything at 2200 rpm. Has to be something with the pump setup.
How does the front axle work for the 4wd?
TY
I hope it all come together great
👍🛠️🚜🤝
I just got a gt18 and the dash and other parts look flawless
What a great service you've done for the Suburban collector community. I don't think I would have ever taken one of these apart, so it's awesome to see inside there. Really great video.
Yes Sir
Привет. Отличный трактор.
I need a certain pulley
Whatabout the belt under the hood? Mine broke and it wont go forward or reverse.
What about belts?
Makes me wonder if there was Sears suburban hydros there
The Sears are pretty picked over as of March,24. Mostly st16 and customs left. But they get stuff in all the time. The last 5 years I've been going there and buying all the Sears, but here's still a few left.
How are you keeping the blade up?
9:23 I mow with my Deutz 613 S every week!
Great build & well thought out. Someone will always find something to pick on. Just human nature. There are things I would have done differently but you're you & I'm me. I have a few "custom" builds under my belt, so I know how you have to think about things & make do with what you have!
Thanks. Thare's a few things that we might improve on overtime. So far it does everything we needed it for.
Youve probably got more in parts and materials there than it would cost you to just buy a running yellow corp auction forklift.
have under 2k in parts. A factory forklift that can drive off road, through sand would for shure be close to the 10k mark, we where looking at machines much higher than that before deciding to just build what we want. Those factory forklifts barly can drive in grass, this one drives right through anything so far.
Good work man! 👍
That red rubber hose looks like heater hose, and is likely to fail exposed to oil. You are also using black iron fittings which have a working pressure of 250 PSI. Brother. Hydraulic injection injuries are deadset lethal. Please use the correct stuff. Otherwise neat rig
People use those fittings all the time, even on old machines from the factory. that red retern hose is air compressor hose, used that and worse hose on projects before.
For future, should look into having the tilt feature on the fork attachment plate. Some masts extend horizontally so they have a peice where the forks tilt instead of the whole mast
The one I built a few years ago does't have tilt either. Never really needed it.
Cool project but I think you will find you definitely need tilt
Thanks. The one I built a few years ago doesn't have tilt either. I think its too much work to make it safe than its worth to have it.
good videos but would be good to see video of it being used rather than a quick picture or two
Thanks. Sometime it will be in a video being used.
My 73 st 16 Ohv seems to be rare
That's incredible, i plan on building things like this once i have my own space
Awesome man ! Good idea with the counter balance. Cant wait to see it in action!
How maney mowers do you rebuild
Nice to see you got that new fork lift done with and working
Great job.
Be mindful of the heat generated in your hydraulic fluid. I don't imagine, in this particular use case, to be too terrible.
Yeah. I had to add an oil cooler to my other one I built a few years ago. The transmission is what I'm concerned about, really don't want to add a cooler, fan and alternator to run the fan, but we'll see.
Glad you are doing well on this new fork lift
What size is the belt for a mowing deck for the 68 suburban
i want one now i am in the middle of building a gokart out of scrap metal and junk ive collected for 5 years and im about 40% done soo far....
Sweet!
Love it.

I don't like where you're exhaust is at all! It's not that hard to make a new one. You can probably even make it so you can use the stock muffler. I'd bet that would be easier than making a new hood. The problem your going to have is where it's at now is going to make your hood really hot! Also it's going to blow on you while you drive it! Yuck.
I have to make a new hood anyway since I don't have the original. After I cut out the firewall I'm going to slide on an elbow on the exhaust and point it out the side, with a heat shield for the battery. Might end up turning the muffler around the other way.
Can you flip the exhaust to clear the hood/point exhaust away from driver?
Possibly, I haven't looked at the exhaust much to know how it attaches.
Very cool
